According to Wikipedia, the Law of Attraction is the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life. The belief is based on the idea that people and their thoughts are made from “pure energy,” and that a process of like energy attracting like energy exists through which a person can improve their health, wealth, and personal relationships.
A key component of the philosophy is the idea that in order to effectively change one’s negative thinking patterns, one must also “feel” (through creative visualization) that the desired changes have already occurred. This combination of positive thought and positive emotion is believed to allow one to attract positive experiences and opportunities by achieving resonance with the proposed energetic law.
But in our lives today there are feelings of chaos, negativity, and uncertainty all around us. You can’t watch TV, listen to the radio, or the news without being saturated with “bad news” that signals danger in your brain. We are overcome with negativity and anxiety. We are social beings. We need human contact. We need to connect and unfortunately are drawn to the drama.
Think about a herd of cattle grazing in a field. They move together and graze together for a sense of safety within the herd. If someone shot a gun they all panic at once and stampede. This is a natural response of fear in the herd. They still stay together but all run at once. Similarly, if one animal senses danger the entire group becomes more alert, which increases the chance of survival for all. Today, we are surrounded by everything that frightens us and we take that energy with us in our daily lives. Of course, when this effect happens for a long period of time, negative energy eventually affects us in physical ways.
The point I am trying to make is that we all have a choice of what we take in and what we communicate out. Safety, calm, hope, can also be contagious and when we lead by example we can also spread the positive. Positive pure energy improves wellness.
Maintaining your health is an “ongoing process” don’t let yourself down.
